GamePinned is discontinued.

The core protection worked: GamePinned could block selected games from being uninstalled.

The unresolved part was knowing when to unlock a game for an update. Steam, Epic Games, and Riot Games can remove and replace the same files during both updates and uninstalls. Reliably telling those actions apart would have required deeper monitoring or control of the user's PC. I was not willing to cross that privacy boundary, so I ended development on September 19, 2026.
